Default Run to waste

Hi mates, I'm changing my recalculating drip system to 'run to waste' and I'm not sure how much run of per plant per day I should have? Do I adjust it to the least amount possible while the medium is soaked or is there a certain amount , let's say a pint per plant per day?
I'm also not sure if my nute strength stays the same with a 'run to waste' system.

Any help?!
