I think he is asking: "What is LST?", is this correct? LST, I believe, stands for Low Stress Training, and is a method to create shorter, bushier plants. This may be necessary if you have a relatively short grow room and plan to grow a tall plant. LSTing could be tieing down the top of the plant (gently) so that the stem is curved and can no longer grow up. Once the plant realizes this, it will put more energy into it's other branches. It can also be useful if your plants are in a sea of green but some plants are twice growing way taller than others. You can LST the taller ones until the others have caught up. Anyway, there could be more to it than just this, and I could be completely wrong. If someone knows a definitive answer please chime in. |
