1.) You buy a Sativa dominant strain.

sativas will grow to be any where between 4-8 feet.

90% of the pictures of pot plants you have most likely seen are of the variety. P.Indica which finish at between 3 feet and 5 feet.

They were making the jokes about the plant being a mother because it had missing growth all the up it.

And with that in ming it actually could be a Indica that was vegged for a long time, and kept non bushy as clones were pulled from it. Although that isnt the way tpo go for mother IMO

2.) You go the FAQ section of RIU.org and look there for info

- GanjaGoddess you are correct and I always find your posts helpful, but I feel the need to add something on, in this case. A 100% pure sativa landrace strain from a tropical region can reach as tall as 15-20 feet, but probably will require many months of flowering. As far as anything you would get from a seed company though, she is totally correct. Anything that takes more than 12-14 weeks of flowering isnt really commercially viable (and even that is a really long time), and is meant more for your own head-stash, or the cannaseurs among us. the landrace types I mentioned could take even longer since in thier natural equitorial habitat, they are around 12/12 sunlight/nighttime all year long. Most available seeds are hybridized, even plants that appear to be pure sativa or pure indica. Neville's Haze for instance, considered one of the ultimate sativas by many, contains a little Northern Lights in order to cut down on it's flowering time without losing much potency.

-No offence, GG. Just thought I could add some useful info to your already useful post
