Is this technique possible in an apartment closet from seed? Has anyone ever tried to grow a SOG from seed with matching seeds? Can they grow at the same speed?

it'll be really tough, all plants grow at different speeds, even the same genetics have differences in growth rates. the best way would be to clone and then you know they all have the same genetics, including the growth rate. but you can do it, they just more likely than not will not be the same height.

THis can be done pretty easily from seed, but agreed yield and uniformity would be much better from clone depending on strain of course. If height isnt a problem for you there are several easy ways of evening your canopy. Bunch of LST, bending sttuff like that. What i like to do is just raise my plants that are shorter, just stick something under the pots until you get the even canopy. I use my college textbooks. Peace

Impossible you say - I don't think anything is impossible although this will be difficult to accomplish.
