Default co2 fire extinguisher

hey guys. i have aquired a brand new fire extinguisher and have been wondering what the best method of rigging up a slow release mechanism for my plants. i have though about releasing all of the co2 into a refuse bag and pricking some small holes to allow for slow release.
also if i release it into a water resevoir would it release slowly?
any info appreciated.

A fire extinguisher is not an ideal way of doing this. They make control systems specifically for this. If you have ever used a fire extinguisher you should know that when you release it, it is either on or off, there is not an easy way to control it. A fire extinguisher has a specific purpose, and plants is not it. Do it right if your going to do it. Set that extinguisher aside in case you have an emergency where you might need it.
