i'm flowering some strains from seed. i had 6 different strains on one side of my room. the "jazz train" was one of them and it turned hermy on me. started showing male flowers everywhere at about 4 weeks in. it pollinated all the other plants on that side of my garden. every plant has a few seeds here and there. every plant EXCEPT the "jazz train".

my question:

why did the jazz train pollinate everything but itself?

interesting..... thats a nice plant you got there. I'm guessing you did that indoor since it's not even close to being in the same league as your monsters.

I have the same problem one plant showed male flower 4 or 5 weeks in and seeded a few buds on the others, but not itself?

Is there anything bad about smoking the hermy bud? I know that if you pick the male "bannanas" off they have pollen in them. Can pollen cause "harsh" smoke or maybe headache?

ive had the opposite happen to me,,,,i had 6 plants in a room,so close they were touching,all the same age etc,anyway when the bud was dry i noticed seeds in the bud from one of the plants,very few,all the bud i got from my other plants had no seeds???
what happened to you is even more baffling tho????,,,,,,,,,,

all the other plants have at least 1 seed per nugget. some nuggets have 2 or 3 seeds. i guess i can save them. i will either get females or hermies. i have a big jar i throw all my hermy seeds in. someday i'll grow them all out.

lol..what havent you heard of faded..sexully steril plants or the term s1....i can give you an expamle of a steril plant...i took 2 males from lumberjack awhlie ago flowered em out the same collected the pollen the same...he used both pollen only 1 took...so the male or female was steril....it does happen not often but it does...an a s1 is a seed made from a plant that herms an seeds itself..those seeds are selfed1 seeds...peace az
