For those who've made more seed at home I have a few questions.

When you've chosen your male.....How far away from your flower room do you keep it?

What kind of lighting do you use for your males?

How many seeds can be produced off a small side branch?

i would keep him as far away from the ladies as possible. when did the males show ? i have had some show in veg and continue to mature which was great...no females mature enough to pollinate ..if you plan on collecting pollen then brushing your girls i would just keep him in a separate room with a few cfl's. i was lazy and had the male and two ladies (diff strains) in the same room having their threesome..i would just shake the male over and through the two during the third week of flower..but do remember if and when you touch or do anything with that male (pollen) do not go anywhere near your girls in flower until you are completely clean..shower and new pair of clothes.

depending on the branch size, i would say 20-30 seeds. i now like to take the top half of the female and cover with something (rag, sock, ect.) and just dust the bottom half. this works well the third week into flower when the hairs are nice and sticky, plus you still get the top half of nice bud...and lost of seeds...

Much appreciated, BigMike. I think I m going to just do a few branches I thought about pulling a female and letting them have a closet conjugal for a couple days. But didnt want to ruin the plant. If one more female shows....I may just do that and be set for a minute on that strain.

how can you store the pollen to use in the future?

I have never grown marijuana or intend to. Anything I post is knowledge gained from reading, not personal experience. Any pictures I post were aquired on the web or are fakes.

just put like a peice of glass under your male plant and the pollen should fall onto the glass and then collect it try and put in air tight container and maybe store in cool dry place i have heard of people using freezer but not sure how well that works pollen wont store for more than a year i think but you might have better luck
