also check my albums for homemade oil extraction device , this is a butane extraction methode all parts can be purchased on line in a brewery supply co they are stainless steel, so parts are fairly expensive.

get an extractor first, then go on youtube and look it up. i heard hexane is a better non-polar solvent but i cant seem to find it.

Black abs plastic pipe, 3" diameter, a foot per 1-2 ounces of material. I would use 7" as the smallest for less then an ounce. Cap on end with a small hole drilled to catch a butane can nozzle. Weed/ trim into tube. Elastic band on three coffee filters to the end without a cap. Blast butane through and catch liquid outdoors. Evaporates off in twenty
Minutes. Viola! Use the best butane And trim for the best oil. First pass makes honey second pass is a darker amber oil. Take time to make the hole in the cap perfectly tight for the butane nozzle. I Recommend premium butane brands, higher purity for a better extract.

Make sure to extract over water. It makes collecting it soooo much easier.

Just made a batch with the honey oil extractor tonight... 20 minutes and deep amber melty gooey goodness

I think I finally have the HoneyBee* Extractor down. I pack it very tight. just jam and press the bud trim and frosted DRY leaf in; put on the cap with coffee filter. Now I find If I run 3 cans through 1 loaded HoneyBee*, the oil comes out golden but VERY dark and VERY thick (you can roll it between fingers and this I love). If you jam 4 cans or more through the oil comes out lighter and more like syrup as opposed to tar.
Any more then 5 cans and it seems to a waste of butane, stop at 4-5 and refill HoneyBee*

3 cans to 1 loaded HoneyBee* seems to be the best for rocking dudes on their faces with a few bots.

Better quality product going is means less chance for impurities in the end and higher yield
