2 SCUDkfa, they look good only thing I could say I'd do different is advise I've gotten from others that lst/supercrop is when ur training ur plants ur goal should be to train the plant in a way that it is spread out over the area of the pot. In other words when u bend it over and the tip reaches the edge of the pot instead of letting the tip bend out over the edge of the pot bend it and train it to grow over the soil. I think it has alot to do with the way the plant roots grow, if Im not mistaken the roots grow almost like a mirror to the plant above.

    Default Quick Question!

Okay chaps, I am coming up for another tying down within the next few days but, being new to LSTing, I don't know whether to tie the new growth coming from the stems or just leave them. I will obviously be tying down the main stem around the pot but I think I have heard that some also tie down the new growth. Does this increase the yield? The RED is the new growth and the BLUE is the top of the plant.

    Any advice will help!

    Peace.

If you don't mind a couple of suggestions...

    1. When you tie the string round the stem for support, pull the plant back with the sting so it looks like it leans back a bit (ie. an angle greater than 90*). This will allow the plant not to lean forward as much after the "front sting" is pulled down.

    2. Plant the clone/seed so that it sits much closer to a side of the pot. It will make your life a lot easier all around (you can refer to the pics for examples). Good luck.

There is a method of doing this without tieing any thing down it utilizes wire dog run material and the INDIVIDUAL screen method, This keeps everything in a tight little package and allows more plants in a tight space each screen is set up using the holes already drilled in the top of your pots! See pictures in my album for a visual of this!

I posted the pics to help the OP, taking the time to bring them here from my tutorial on IC. Care to see some LST'd buds the size of half gallon jugs? I can certainly oblige, but that wouldn't help the guy with his future grows.
