has anyone ever air pruned( I think thats right) its when u root a branch while its still connected to plants. Just wondering if its faster or not worth trying

so far I've read u skin the branch and wrap a wet med around the skined area and roots are suppose to root. So when doing this do u also use rooting gel or just wet medium. ?

also known as air layering. there are instructions in the growFAQs.

cut a pete pellet in half, wrap around desired branch to clone... try with string... cover in plastic, keep moist until roots show... don't forget to rough up the branch and peel away the top layer of plant matter before applying the puck...
