Alright my botany teacher swears by this aparently, he says that adding nicotine to water and watering your plants with it is the best organic way to control pests on houseplants. does anyone know how this would affect cannabis specifically? it seems like it would fuck with the ph or something but I have no idea. anyone have any input?

I did some research into that a couple of years ago. Watering it into the plants themselves does have a systemic (internal) pesticide effect... but do you really want an addictive carcinogen in your bud? Plus it would most def fuck with Ph and kill beneficial bacteria. You could try the older method which involves sprinkling powdered tobacco on the leafs, but I don't know how much may actually penetrate into the plant itself. For ornamentals, it's a great technique (hell thats why tobacco HAS nicotine), but for something people consume... stick to Einstein Oil and Dutch Master Penetrator. That has never failed me.

i'd look look into lady bugs and Aphid Predator (Aphidoletes aphidomyza) and the like....
