Ive read numerous forums, also how to's and i get the same answer's for increasing yields. Alot of the the time im reading to gradually change your light cycle from 12/12 to 14/10. Good idea or bad?

Ive never heard of anyone using 14/10 light.You need at least 12 hours dsark for correct flowering.

I was just getting a second opinion so thanks for answering my question. I was led to believe you needed 12 hrs of dark for correct flowering too.

i asked the same question basicaly you need 12 hours of absorbing energy and 12 hours of concerting energy for a correct ballance

wait.. i have heard of this as well but you have it backwards.. 10 hours light, 14 hours of dark for the last week before harvest - dont know if it really helps that much but its what a couple of my friends do and live by it

I've heard from experienced cultivators that its good for clones going into flowering, and you do have it backwards its 10 light 14 dark.

I have been running 13hrs of light and 11hrs of darkness, and it seems to be working great. I had 1 successful grow and now i am trying my hand in hydro using the same schedule

I would keep on using 12/12, and if you really want to increase your bud's potency, then leave the lights off for the last two or three days. Your plant will push all it's THC into the buds trying to keep itself alive.

I try to replicate outside with mine. I first start flowering at 13 light and 11 dark. Then after 2 weeks I go to 12/12 after two more weeks I got to 11light and 13 dark. It seems to be working well look at my avatar.
