    Default Help finding CO2 gear

I have two 500 CF linked rooms for blooming. They're light tight and ventilation is installed so the air recirculates evenly across both rooms, allowing me to run it sealed with an Split AC and Inline Fan vents for temperature and humidity management.

One of the rooms will be ON at night while the other at daytime, making it look like I got a new freezer as for the electricity bill goes. What I'm looking for is a controller that maintains CO2 Levels between certain range but as a security measure it's a must for me that it turns on a exhaust vent when CO2 is above optimum level, of course it has to turn off enrichment device while doing so. Models with photocells of course wont do it for me and I can't believe I haven't found an affordable choice in the web.

    Thanks in advance

The C.A.P. Controllers work well. Not too cheap though.

yes but they activate fans when certain "temp" parameter is met, I need it to activate a device when certain levels of CO2 are reached. My main concern is that I'm curing, clipping and drying in there too and Co2 build ups could be huge if I add the time a spend staring the plants growing, I'll fall into a nice but deadly sleep

I am not sure I totally follow. The CO2 controller will shut off your CO2 when it reaches your set CO2 limit keeping it safe. I guess if you wanted to be extra safe you could get a second CO2 controller and hook it up to a exhaust fan so if it gets higher the fan kicks in as a precuation.

Co2 is toxic to plants above 2000ppm
Co2 above 10,000ppm will give you a head ache, make you sleepy, and if it somehow manages to rise to 50,000ppm
It can be harmful to animal life. The odds that your burner is that efficient are remote
I use a Coco monitor and a CAP burner. Once I stood next to the monitor and just kept breathing into it. The numbers went off the charts....it was like 5000ppm coming out of my lungs...trippy
MB you are thinking of carbon monoxide not carbon dioxide...hope this helps
Oh one more thing......try eBay for burners and monitors. Peace.

I was thinking of figuring out CO2 sensor with my controller but not gonna bother for now. $36, will switch at set level. I'll leave it to you to figure out how to calibrate the sensor to the right level...

That's exactly what worries me, if I spend lots of time in the grow room wouldn't Co2 add up to hazardous levels?,

My temp is been taken care of by the split AC (24000btu), like most sealed environments are and ventilation is set up so air gets exchanged between rooms every minute 24/7. So why on earth would I need an exhaust due to temp on a CO2 controller? I already know the right spot is 27°C! the AC thermostat is more than able to do that for me.
