What is th best way to extract DNA from a marijuana plant . I'm fixing to start cross breeding and want exact traits from my Hindu Kush to cross with my Viet Black .
I figured the best way was to go to the source of the plants build up and see where that leads me .

Something tells me you're a bit ahead of yourself. As I'm sure you've already picked up in DNA-class every cell of everything living contains DNA - with the exception of egg and sperm-cells. That aside I would recommend that you start with cross-pollination. (For that you're not going to need that DNA-exstractor)
By using a female of one kind, and a male of another - you have created your own hybrid. If it's successful, you can name it after yourself.

I know how to cross pollinate plants . Been doing it for years . I grow 4 different landrace strain , 3 of which are sativa and one thats indica . But after several attemps to cross breed ( which has produce some dank ass bud ) I still havent got to the point with my crosses that I'm wanting to be . I have cross bread and grown out for a few grows and then cross pollinated again . Just cant seem to get it right where I want it . Guess its back to the grow room and my chemistry set
Only time will tell .
