    I have always thought that 6.5 was ideal for growing in soil but lately have heard people saying 6.8-7.2. What is the ideal ph of the water used in organic cultivation?

    6.8. There are many nutrient absorbtion charts to relay the information you are looking for online. Google is your friend.

    i stay between 5.5 and 6.5.
    usually around 6.3 though.
