I perfer the botainicare organic. I heard rave reviews about foxfarm, used it to the "t" and saw a 29% decrease! The best is to find exactly what that particular straind wants. Much like children, each one prefers different foods, and will get pissed if they don't get what they want. Anytime I switch to a new straind I will try multiple methods of feeding on different clones to find the perfect solution for that one. KEEP A LOG AND PICS This is huge!!! I find myself going back to logs from 10 years ago to obtain information. That being said, if you are dedicated to picking just one or the other, I would choose AN, especially if you are an aqua user.

If you really analyze the "cannabis specific" foods, you'll realize that most of them are crap, designed to empty the pockets of primarily noobs or the unsophisticated grower, their primary targets. UB

Yes! So many people think that if you simply look at a label and it says it's good for growing, that it's good for ALL types of growing. Sure, that sort of makes sense, but then when you think about it, not really. For example, you don't use the same medications for kids that you might use on adults, would you? Nope. Those medications are too strong. And some plant nutes are just too strong for some plants than they are for others. All plants need different things, so it's ESSENTIAL to learn about the NPK values of the nutes you're using and what this actually means. While it is easier to just throw a bunch of nutes on some plants and hope for the best (admit it, we've all done it), that doesn't really work in the long run. Actually, when you don't take the time to research nutes, you will probably end up using things that don't work, wasting money in the process. If I have to choose between Foxfarm and Advanced Nutrients, I go with Advanced Nutrients. For me, they seem to work the best. But I've heard other growers ooh and aah about FF. Whatever your plant wants, that's what you need to get.

a lot of products today have unlisted flowering regulating hormones......... they are doing the magic, not the NPK...
its the same with root promoting products.... Roots Exelurator doesnt work well because the NPK... it works well because of the unlisted ingredients. These days there are a lot of products like this and just simply checking the Guaranteed Analysis is becoming a oldschool outdated way of deciding which nutes to buy. I dont think AN makes the best products and i believe they are totally over priced but i wouldnt go using $5.00 miracle grow either...

i've used both fox farms and advanced, i know that advanced kicked the ass off of fox farm. i have even done side by side comparison using sour diesel in a sea of green. the advanced products had bigger denser flowers with a closer flowerset than the fox farms.
i currently use a mix of products other than advanced. but i still use sensigrow and sensibloom as my base nutes. i think they are by far the best.

oh shit,
yes that is correct... check into it. i dont buy into hype... i dont use AN... i do research, i also do my own side by side tests and i attend the trade shows, talk to nutrient company owners, i read, read and read some more... I also attend a horticulture trade school, and i have been a state lic. landscape contractor working with plants for the last 14 years..... so i think i know a little about plants and nutrients... especially these plants. just because you can grow big buds with miracle grow doesnt mean its good tasting bud... those cheap nutes are usually high in urea based nitrogen which is almost impossible to leach from the plant before harvest...... urea taste like piss.... thats just my first complaint... but if you like it then rock it bro! if you think a plant cannot benefit from anything but the NPK and secondary nutrients then you are simply wrong. and my gardens are doing just amazing... but i dont need to drive the big truck to show off to everyone... because i know i have the bigger penis... people that actually have something real dont post it on the world wide web... good luck.
