Default Adding Perlite to Ocean Forest?

I've considered adding perlite to my FF ocean forest, seems like there's a minimal amount of it in their soil and wondered if anyone has tried this or any other modifications they've made to the ocean forest mix.

definitely... OF needs aeration!
i'm using OF as a base for my terra preta grow experiment and am using the following proportions:

8 perlite : 4 biochar : 8 OceanForest : 4 HappyFrog [another fine FF product] : .125 dolomite : .5 wormcastings for veg, or .5 bonemeal for flwr : pottery shards "to taste"

this all gets a pre-flush/soak solution prior to use.

'still working out microbial amendments though...

good. I thought so...helps make 20 dollar bag of dirt last longer
