hey everyone i got 5 papaya females from seed and 2 wonder woman going... i they both have about 4 leaves in total on each one, about 2 weeks or maybe less old...

my question is.. how long before i can take a cutting for a clone?? i dont know if there is a certain rule that applies.. maybe someone could help clear this up?

and the other ??? is what should i clone? the papaya or the wonder woman??

Honestly i'd clone both.

I done a lot of research & i'm sure you can take clones after the fourth node.

But most people clone after finding out what the sex is of the plant.

That is the reasoning for cloning so you don't have to go through the long process of not knowing growing from seed & risking all the time into vegging one or two plants 2 months & end up finding out it's got balls.

If you only have 4 leaves total on each plant then its way too early. You need shoots in order to clone. I use LST to get the bottom branches exposed to more light and after a few weeks you will have plenty of possible clone sites to choose from.

thanks guys... and like i said my seeds are feminized.. its just a matter of wat one will flower faster.. im not to patient.. i know the wonder woman will yield more

2 weeks old is much to young i wait till plant is 1-1.5 ft. They will have many possible clone sites at this time

in my experience i have taken a clone at any time. may take longer to root in some instances but if i need one i will get it.... whether have one branch in veg or 6 weeks in flowering.

awesome responce... its like if i want a clone that bitch ass plant is giving me one... priceless.....

now i am down to 5 female papaya and 1 wonder woman,,,

my plan is to put the wonder woman in a 5 gallon dwc bucket under my 90w ufo led for veg.... i also picked up a 10 gallon tub from wallmart and installed 5 2" net pots on it, the tub will have a fogger in it as i love fogponics!!!

nutes are going to be fox farms big bloom grow big and tiger bloom....

the 5 site tub will be under a 400 mh/hps....

hopefully i can get some pics up soon. i plan on cloning as soon as the plants get some more branches
