as far as security i am not worried. this last pack i had to pick up at the post office. nothing can happen if your seeds are confiscated, you will just get a letter in the mail saying that there was something illegal being shipped to your address.

i just hate that the quality of seeds is junk sometimes. i have had a couple seeds that are black, not normal looking. and of course, they didnt germ. i have had a freebie, but a seed none the less, crushed, but all of the seeds around it were fine. it would take very acute pressure to crush one seed in a pack and no others. i am guessing that it was shipped that way. my second to last batch of seeds had a 50 percent germ rate. i had a seed from greenhouse that was one of those color coded mixed pack that was not even a seed, just a ball of the coating. these seeds are fucking expensive and should be quality, but alot of times they are not. i am so excited to have my own seeds after my current grow.

also though, i really want some subcool seeds, dj short seeds and some other higher end seeds. so i will probably buy again. but overall i feel it is a waste of money if you can just get bagseed.

I've thought about buying an ounce of each and getting the seeds that way but too expensive and the connect will probably remove the seeds before supplying the middleman with the work anyway. So when I'm fortunate to have a place to send some seeds I'll order them but to think that bagseed is in the league of haze etc is mistaken. while it's true you usually don't get long flowering sativa's in bagseed, it really depends on where it comes from cause the people growing are gonna use what suits their area best, i have grown out mexi-brick into huge sativa's that flowered for like 14 weeks and were like steel wool, smelled exactly like a guava too i was really happy it totally caught me by surprise. because mostly indicas come outta bagseed where im at but just try lots of different mids and remember people have been selectively breeding weed, for literally 5000 years, there are carbon dated leaf prints from india. typically the quality of the mids in my experience is no indication of the quality of genetics, you can get a good idea of the indica/sativa ratio if it is mature buds.

very true, about the selection issue and that is why i buy seeds, besides the fact that i cant find bagseeds alot of time, i like selection. the last two grows i have been doing 5-7 strains per grow to check out some different genetics. i just wish the seeds were always good quality. also i agree that bagseed is usually indica, so a good sativa is hard to come by.

Very good point about the genetics. In my grow now I currently have 3 definite indica females and 1 that looks like a hybrid sativa female. It's amazing in the difference in characteristics. I'm hopefull that this will be an amazing plant but only time will tell. To the greater issue I have Hundreds of seeds my situation is not the regular newbie grower situation. I understand people breed, grow bagseed and I am as well so I understand the pride in standing behind your babies but as I said buy the haze(i.e. the highgrade strains) from a connect and a respectable quality reg and you will know the difference. Now apply the knowledge of you being able to grow good bud out of bagseed to growing haze if your good your results with the haze should reflect that. For the record I am a bagseed grower and proud but my ego's cool with knowing I could if given the circumstances grow better weed

you definitely have much better odds of getting top of the line strains from breeders, i think it's all around worth the cash in most cases and i don't grow bagseed anymore cause this town doesn't really have mids. i use clones. but remember the deisel/chemdog line were originally bagseed, he just hit the bagseed jackpot. and it's so fun to grow surprise weed. speaking of which i actually found a teeny little weed plant today in a park, it was really funny, i had to walk by a couple times just to check myself but i couldn't stop cause it was kinda busy.

where im at the quality is pretty mixed up everything from hay tasting lawn clipping looking shit that grows on peoples farms probably wild to the sweetest smelling hydro and im my opinion most of it is sativa usaly an uppidty high the plants the seeds, from any quality bag(besides the lawn clippings) grow are tall and have narrow leaflets.
