Hey guys, Long time since I have been here as I have lost interest in the internet But anyway here is an update on what im doing...
I have a blueberry, a whiteberry and a blue venom growing at the moment. I was growing the mothers in soil under a 250watt MH, Then I had an outbreak of spidermites so I took the plants outside and introduced a couple of green lynx spiders, ladybugs and stick insects. After about a week I was sort of getting the spidermite population down to a minimum So left the plants out for a couple more days when I noticed they are starting to bud So without rushing (it causes mistakes) I got a cloning enviroment prepared and some rock wool soaking. I have taken a few clones off each plant but they are budding tips... 3 days into there new lives they are still looking good. I was wondering after they rooted will they go back to veg or will they want to continue budding?... I would really like to keep this generation going... here a couple of pics.Cheers kwaka |

I understand that much thank you... It wasn't a planned clone as I only moved the plants outside for some predatory animals to take out my spider-mite infestation. The plants started budding and I really had no choice... A rookie move on my part I do believe. It was at the start of the cycle took the option of cloning the tips as apposed to reveging the whole plant (even more unneeded stress) Thanks for the vote of confidence guys, Im sure my babys will turn into great women... Ouch so close to harvesting... Is powdery mildew caused by to much humidity?... I try and keep my room moist (80% - 90%) when vegging and slowly drop it as the plant starts going through cycles. I generally try for a (40% - 50%) humidity level around harvest time. I am yet to have any mould/fungus/mildew problems. I did have some fungus gnats early in the stage but I dried them out and they are all but gone, then the spider mites moved in lol Cheers kwaka |
