Default Completely Stumped
I have been flowering White Widows from seed from Amsterdam for 15 weeks and my trichomes haven't changed at all. The tops are beautiful, full and heavy, 80 percent of my hairs have turned, but the trichomes just stay glassy. I'm sure their root bound at this point, as I really screwed up on these, as I didn't start to flower until they were 48 inches with 600 watt HPS. Their full of tops and from what I sampled, great! Should I wait or do my thing? If there's more to come I'll just keep feeding them. Here's my feed, this is what I'm up to per gallon; 2 table spoons of molasses, 1 teasp of NPK 7-50-6, 2 drops of super thrive, 2 table spoons of Hydrogen Peroxide and 1 tablespoon of Bat Guane . My leaves look ok, obviously their wilting, but that's due to their phase of life. Any and all imput would be greatly appreciated

The trichomes are supposed to be that way. You better harvest now before thos trichomes fall off and your plants are ruined.

Try looking at them from the top down. 15 weeks isn't that long for Sativas, Don't wory until you see amber. Then trim the fan leaves, cut the lights for about 5 days and flush. They will be plenty milky after that.

Default never heard of that happening
are you serious with advice like that, this isn't exactly my first grow, I can't even believe someone would make such a statement (Remeberme) , I thought this post was listed in advanced growing?

No, Amsterdam marijuana Seedss, they've got great ratings, and have had good luck with them in the past; as they've been around for at least 10 years that I know of.

Welll I don't get it, why would you want them anything but glassy???? Next they turn opaque and fall off and on some strains that happens very quickly.

This is from an article "
Some cultivators wait for about half of the secretory cavities to go opaque before harvesting, to ensure maximum THC levels in the finished product. Of course nothing tells the truth more than your own perception, so try samples at various stages to see what is best for you & the phenotype your are growing. While you may be increasing the total THC level in the bud by allowing half of the glands to go opaque, the bud will also have a larger percentage of THC breakdown products such as CBN, which is why some people choose to harvest earlier while most of the secretory cavities are still clear."

Article is here: http://growingmarijuana.org/?p=143

I grow alot of sativas and the trichrome rule doesn't always apply.
I like to sample mine a little and I am looking for an up cerebral stone.
You said you liked it, the sample.
I am not an "expert"but if possible I would lift them from the container add a couple inches of fresh soil underneath and top dress. I would then let them go 2 weeks with just a sweet or mollasses flush and call it good.
After all with sativas I am looking for a nice up buzz without the paranoia.
Then again that is just me.lol
