hello everyone i was just in the hydro store and this bio filter thing caught my eye

i was wondering if any of you had any experience with these units and if they really make that big of a difference to the root system?

Can i run 100% organic nutes through my nft system with out the worries of clogs if this unit is in place?

im trying to keep y roots nice and white through out the grow so far towards the last couple weeks of flowering they have been turning from white to dark brownish dying looking so im trying to improve there. i also caught of the hydrogen peroxide towards the last month few weeks. will this machine help keep my roots healthy?
