im LSTing two of my plants. it looks like a fail to me, but maybe it will all go well. i have one topped at node 3 and the other is up to node 5 or 6 (not topped). i tied them both over. nooow my questioons..

will they correct themselves and start to grow up to the light, or will i have to do some bending?

will the shoots start to all go towards the light? 2nd to that, should i be twisting the main stem to allow the shoots that are facing the soil to be exposed to more light?

what do i need to do to maximize the bud sites? i think i made it to simple..any help with my questions would be greatly appreciated =)

Yes they will start to bend up.

Pretty much. The ones facing the dirt may stretch a teeny bit to find the light but then they will grow upwards

yes they will find the light in due time.
to get more colas just keep tying
down the main one.
i got pictures in my journal that i was lsting
it ended up being a male and i had to cut
him down. this should help you out

it will twist around and find the light itself.
LST is not as big a deal as you're making it
