There is no replacement for extra more lights. You're running 1200 watts on a 8x4 tray, which most people feel is too low (37.5 watt per sq foot, sorry, US Standard system is crap).

2x1000 or 3x600 would be ideal. The rails have to be mounted correctly on the ceiling or any type of overhead bar. In addition, if you're aircooling the lights, it makes ducting really difficult and prone to tears since the ducting will constantly flex.

I was able to successfully push 3 hoods using one lightrail 3.5 motor.

light movers provide 30% more light coverage not 50%, best place for light movers is in veg rooms but do well in flowering also but you cant eliminate a light with it u can make your canopy 30% bigger

Not trying to catch a free ride but I have wondered about approaching it differently and go with fixed lights and a carousel type platform underneath and rotate the the plants.

Multiple 400s are the way to go for a few reasons. You get better coverage and you can keep them closer to the plants. Light movers get the job done but they are kind of a PIA with the cords moving around and the hoods trying to spin and what not. On the plus side they do illuminate from changing angles so you will get increased penetration. But another drawback is if you have plants of different heights you have to bend the plant.

If I was going to set up a grow room it would be multiple 400W electronic ballasts with the $40 aluminum econo-wing reflectors.
