Hi all i have been reading around about making seeds and cross breeding and etc.

I had some questions so if anyone can help it would really help. + Rep as well!

First i would make some examples..
I would like to experience with the seeds i have right now.
AK48 and Jock Horror and NL's and mazar but lets work with ak48 and jock for example..

I get an ak male and polinate a jock what am i expecting? More into jock taste with ak growing characteristics?

Also if i had a female plant that is differnt from all other plants such as smelling excessivly like lemon or having early and massive trichomes...What can i do to get seeds from it?

If i had a GREAT potent plant but flowering took REALLY long, would crossing it with a early finishing male plant do something about the long flowering genes?

What do females represent and what do males represent in crossing? Or are they just all random?

Exp. Crossing ak + jock can give a mix up of whatever genes both sex have or does one sex represent some status?

i was about to make a thread like this.. i found out this morning that all 3 of my Thai Super Skunks are male.. so im going to pollinate one of my white rhino plants with the bushiest of the TSS males. i would just like to know which characteristics will be more pronounced. ill name them Thai Rhino! or Rhino Skunk! lol.. maybe Thai White Skunk?? imma +rep you for making this thread lol.

LOL Yea instead of throwing males away why not use them for future seeds or w/e..

im doing lowryder #1 with crystal and those seeds ima make sure i have a male and then pollenate the purple so it should be some type of pink autoflowering my cyrstal is w.wdiow x nl#5 and bubba kush x cotton candy . big breed mixture

i was wondering the same thing.,.,i want to make a very hallucinagenic(i kno my spelling sucks)smoke,.,.,.,.,so knowing wat traits and sex of strains is dominant would be helpful

it doesnt matter about useing the male/female, just that the female has more traits that we are able to see....if u wanted to get the lemon smell and tricomes from a (mother) u whould have to find a male (sperm doner) and cross the two then grow out the seeds from that cross find a F1 male and backcross to the orginal mom..keep on doing this tell u get ur stable IBL hybred..hope i helped...

It would be very hard to determine which traits are going to be dominant. The seed will get half of its genetics from each parent. You will have to do some research into the strains and see what their lineage is to get a good idea. Here is a link to a search engine that you can look up the strains and try and figure it out. So getting seeds from the wanting two plants and with that seed you pollenate the female whichwould get you MORE traits from the other since the seedyou already made has half of the mother plants traits already. So the seeds that come out afterwards would have 75% of the mother instead of 50% and so on until you get stabled traits of what you want....

Wow so after allgetting a good strain is not so simple and very time consuming ..

Would crossing the same strain plants give you same seeds you order?
Like two ak48;s male and female give me same seeds tha i started with or similar?

Are seeds from female plants ALWAYS better than seeds fro male plants?

Can male plant seeds be a potent female as well or is that more rarer?
