I live in the desert and the air is very dry and hot so I wanted to know if it would help the plant or kill the plant; if I used serran wrap as a tent over my plants to retain moister and build Humidity.

are you indoors or outdoors?? what i use to do to increase the humidity was fill a few buckets, or rubbermaids with water and just let the water evaporate in the air, as far as outdoors, i can`t help you their, but i know they have a million people here on RIU that can help. hope this helps.
