ok i got this idea ... what if i have a soil plant that im growing using lst so its staying low and i have a hydro set up sitting right next to it and i make the center of a branch go into they hyro set up and try to get roots off of it so now i got one plant with soil and hydro.... is it possible .... would it make a differnce?? if you do that and u want u can just cut off right b4 the hydro part so now u got a full rooted clone

I bet it's possible if done a certain way but the question is why. You can just take cuttings from the plant and clone them.

If I were to try it I would scrape a bit of the outher layer of the stem, paint it with some rooting gel and then wrap a rockwool cube around it and keep it soaked with rooting solution. But if the plan is big it still ight struggle with such a small root system. You could combat this by cutting off some fan leaves to lower transpiration. It might be a fun experiment although probably not the most productive.

Well, behind my Pond. I have this willow tree that has its branches growing from the truck down into the ground like roots, So i bet it is possible it turn it into a root system.

more roots means bigger plant usually right ... idk just a stoned idea... and anyone see my other post about another idea... air stones in soil??

I've seen this happen in the bush with pot plants.. Got toppled, and where some secondaries broke, and contacted the soil, they grew adventitious roots instead of clones..

there was a high times a few months back were one of the tecs made a spilt pot and feed 1 side nutes and the other side just PH'ed water..he said that he was able to rise the PPM's alot higher with no nute burn,also said it was better smoke too.....i was thinking of makeing a DWC pot spilt 4 times for N/P/K/water. and use bc blooms 3 part nutes. that whould let the grower have complete control..if one wanted they could make a pot with as many sides as they wanted...i whould only do it with one large tree because it seems like alot of work...
