What's the longest you, or someone you know or have heard of, has ever stored bud? 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, MORE? How'd they store it? Just askin, might have to squirrle some away for awhile. Any and all welcome to throw in their stories or advice.

I've smoked buds stored in tightly sealed jars after 15 months, and it was still potent and good to me.

i think as long as you do wat the normal curing requires burping i think you could cure as long as 20 months

yea ive smoked old ass bud the smell fades with age and the thc level may drop about 2-4% tastes just like wat ever its rolled in so no flavor
thats y i love freshly cured buds

A couple years ago well more like 5 i was working up north trimming anyways there was this shed on the property and it had a shelf with metal tin cans with masking tape labels and dates everything from 1985 - present.. i opened the 1992 container and saw it was weed.. i am the adventurous type so i smoked it. man it tasted like shit but it got me high as fuck.. i miss that old job

I've smoked bud that was cured properly and stored in mason jars for over two years and it was great.

If your storing for a very long time, you can do this method where you submerge mason jars with the bud in them in boiling hot water I think like 212 farenheit, and then taking the jars out and immediately cooling the jars with cold water, and it does some super seal shit to keep it fresh, or you can get a vaccuum sealer and just vaccuum seal plastic bags, im gonna do both with some of my harvest...
