Smokin' a blunt the other day and had a thought. . . Is it a good idea to harvest buds as they become ready individually? From what I've read, you want the trichs about 50/50, right? My thought came from my okra garden. you harvest the okra pods when they are about 3"-4" long so they wont be to stringy or tough. Some pods are ready one day, and others might take another day or two before they're ready. Now, i know okra and weed are two COMPLETLY different plants but i was wondering if this was a good idea for marijuana harvesting? (Not going by the length, but the trichs for any of you smartasses! ) So yall please let me know what the deal is or if I'm missing any of the little details that you proffesional growers know about! seriously? is there a way to do this without damaging the plant (first grow but prepping for big big mother plant to flower out and want to taste before all is done). how do you pick off the bud and leave the other parts of the flower intact? (subscription!)

Just snip it off at it's base.

yea all u have to do is cut it off.... my plants are so bushy that i have to cut the tops off and let the bottoms grow a few day longer.... it will not hurt ur plant at all!!!!!!!!!!
