im about to start 6 autoflowering easyryder plants indoors? does anyone know what size pots are best with these auto strains? would you reccomend a 400 or 250 watt lamp? also should i have a couple cfls added in? im new to lighting

6 Feminized? If so then you will need the 400w if not then 250w will do, since you will only get around 3 female plants. I would go with the 400w anyways, its about the same price and you will yield so much more it will make up for the price difference.

Id start them in 16oz solo cups, and finish them in 1/2 gal to 1 gal pots. Lamp

thanks. i ordered 6 feminized. im in the process of hollowing out a dresser that is 3.5 feet tall 1.5 thick and 3 feet wide if i have plenty of ventilation and keep the temp down could i get away with a 400?

Go hydro bubbler system with these. And look for 3 gallon rez. Problem with 1 gallon soil is that you won't yield enough to feel it's worth it in the end. All that light you'll have and small yielding plants. I had just a 150w hps, on the 1 lowryder 2 (not as well known for yield as what you have) plant that lived, and here was my result. That was 3oz dried.

This wouldn't have happened in soil, or in 1 gallon. The autos can be worth it, but you have to maximize the grow technique. That means hydro, good lighting, and decent nutes (mine were Fox Farm).

I use 2 gallon smart pots. With organic Fox Farm Soil and Blue Mountian Organic nutrients with a little Black strap Mollases as well. You need to put them in the pot that they will stay in. They do not take kindly to transplanting. The smart pot gives you bigger yields than a regular pot. I don't know anything about hydro other then I don't know anything about hydro. I only do all organic everything. I figured you can't do better than god can you? I would also go for the 400 watter. I have a 600 watter in a roughly 3' x 3' area, and with rotation and what not I can get about 20 smart pots in there. You can stager the growth as well so that every couple of weeks you have something new going. I currently have 3 flavors going,but am thinking about adding a couple of more into the stable. You should also have purchased regular seed so that you could make your own seeds for the future. You took all of the risk getting the seeds delivered, but now that is all you are going to have. Just my two cents. I am by no means an expert at anything.

wow thats a real beauty.Those are the kinda plants that make it all worth while.ive always kinda shyed away from hydro but 3 zips from 1 plant tells me i should maybe reconsider things. im going to a hydro store tomorow and the last time i was there they had cool little six plant hydro systems that looked like they would fit. The only thing with buying from there is the owners know they are the hydro store around my parts for atlest 150 miles so the prices are always crazy. I may jus see what they have remember what theyre called and order online. thanks for the link and your help is very appreciated.
