NOt a first time grower. using 400 hps, air cooled filters, bells and whistles.

I'm not going to post a photo because it looks like every other sick plant(druppy, non vigorious growth)....but here's my theory and I wanted to know if there's any weight to it:

I germ my seeds directly in a transfer pot w/ dirt (I don't like paper towel method), but I think this grow I may not be getting the seed deep enough, here's why:

The plant takes on characteristics of being dehydrated and when I brush a little dirt off, the root ball is very close to the surface and they have trouble standing.

I'm gonna pot up a bit and bury more of the trunk, think that's do it?

Bury it a bit deeper or cover it with more topsoil.....that should work for ya
