thinking about growing 6 plants total, 3 plants will be autoflowering and 3 being one strain that isnt.

i know that if the autoflowering buds start to flower earlier than the other strain it wont matter b/c they will still flower under 24hr light.. but, when it comes time to go 12/12 for the 2nd strain will it mess with the autoflowering strain..

i just wouldnt want to screw up an otherwise great yield by messing with the light during fruting for the non-autoflowering plants.

Yea putting them on 12-12 will mess with your yield but if you a strong enough ligth it wont be that bad i got an ounce off two lowryder#2 on 12-12 under a 400 hps and they could have went another week or two so i lost a few grams by choping early, Hoped i helped!

thanks for the input so far.. I will be working with a 600 hps..in a super closet that will be delivered in august.

If an autoflowering plant will continue to flower at 12/12...then I dont see a problem.

I would obviously harvest at seperate times because the autoflowering bud would be much further along than the non autoflowering strain.

anyone have any other input on this matter? not that it matters i've already put in the order from attitude for:

BUDDHA SEEDS WHITE DWARF FEMINIZED (autoflowering)


the cheese is my attempt at something a little more difficult and my white dwarf is pretty much my fail safe if i am absolutely horrid at growing, they will atleast produce something and do it fairly quickly I hope!!

Anyways, your autoflowering strains will get 2-3 weeks long day flowering (20/4 is apparently ideal) before your cheese is sexually mature and ready to flip to 12/12.. Not that you need to flip them right then.. And for that matter you could stagger the light change over time kinda like nature does..

I know that there are more fiscally responsible techniques but in my particular situation--I need the stealth and I also need an all inclusive package because I don't have the time to piece together a closet from scratch. plus I have the money so it's not an issue.

Aye cuzz im growin white dwarf and bag seed in a closet under a 250w on 20/4. i suggest u wait until those dwarves are fat and maybe the last week drop to 12/12 . just train (or top opt.) to keep them level or start them at a later date. I had all autos 4 white dwarves and about 7 seeds that were lowryder mix that never srouted and the one that did sprout was 2" tall. When i ran out i put the bag seeds and some seeds my homie sent me from cali in the tent i topped the biggest one and i figure in a month they will be ready to flower and my dwarves will be getting smoked. What system are u using?
