Default 36 hours dark before flwr?

i have heard some ppl talk about going dark for 26 hours before the 12-12 switch. anybody do this or know where i can learn more about it?

too lazy to look it up, but oldtimer1 did some research on this over at uk420 and found that a 24 hour dark period before flowering resulted in quicker flowering but 10-15% less yield

this was first time i heard of it. i read mel frank and ed rosenthal so i guess i am behind the timews. i guess i wont do it because i want yield.

I did two day of full darkness before I harvested. Really helped to finish them off

I did 72hr dark before going to 12/12 and the buds are growing bigger and badder and faster then ever. I would give them molasses or any carbboost to make sure you dont freak your girls out. Mine are doing better then any bud Ive grown. My Haze is at just about one month and the colas are at 10" and getting bigger every day.

really? i guess that wouldnt be as risky. its funny because i saw a guy on youtube who said to turn your lights on 14 hours last week or so of flower.
