Why do you need 36 hours of darkeness before sending your plant into 8+ weeks of flowering? Do you really think that will have any noticeable difference 2-3 months down the road?

I've heard of it many times, and tried it as well.
It's supposed to make them start flowering quicker than simply flipping to 12/12 from veg.
I have noticed that if I do 36 hrs of dark I can pull out the males quicker because they will show sex quicker.
Apart from that I haven't noticed any other advantages, or disadvantages, but for me, if I have limited space it's worth it.

For me it is worth while to cut off two weeks before harvest. I have to move in about 5 months and I need to grow as many crops as I can with as much yeld as I can or Ill be super funked. (Ill be on the street with all my grow with me) Iam doing a med grow so Iam legal to grow and Iam a care giver that lets me grow 6 budding and 6 veg plants but the person Im living with is moving
and this is there house so I need to grow and go. Two weeks could make all the diffrence in the world for me .

I agree with Boneman! It's just not necesssary to possibly stress your plant for nothing. Don't do the 36 hours of dark....WHY?

just give them advance nutrients bud blood forces the bud pistils out 1 week earlier a longer veged plant 3 weeks on u can get them out 10 days earlier. 36 hrs of darnkess before harvest helps ripen the crystal faster
