ph 7 is too high , should be 5.5, and it needs to be under a humid dome or something,.... you should also shave a little skin off the bottom of the clone and dip it in roottone , but any root hormone is better than nothing, and it sounds too hot,..

Well the soil has dolomite lime in it so shouldnt it stabilize the ph anyway? Why is 7 too high when the whole plant has been living off 7? I dont see why it would be different so please explain. I dont have a dome lol so i though about like the top of a 2liter bottle or something, i did peel some skin back as i saw in a vid but i didnt have any rootone just superthrive and it wasnt too hot, cfls dont produce much heat and it was barely warm around the cutting. I dont get why it died so fast but it wasnt the best cutting i could of taken either. Hey i heard of using peroxide for clones and having roots within 3 days how exactly do you do that for clones? Same as i do with the plant and put it in soil or what?

I had lots of success using a simple cup of water cloning method. I used a red dixie cup filled with about an inch of regular tap water. I made sure to change the water daily. The cuttings took about 12 days to show root bumps. As soon as you can see root bumps plop them into some soil. They will explode over the next week or two. Within 3-4 weeks they will be big and healthy and ready to start flowering if you are impatient. I like to veg for at least 4-6 weeks after cloning before going to flower for nice fat plants. The cup of water is slow but very simple. Just be patient with the cuttings. They may not look so good for the first little bit. As long as it doesn't fully shrivel up and die let it be. It will take some time but it works well and is very simple. If after 2-3 weeks your cutting still hasn't rooted then you can consider throwing it out. some strains can take as long as 4 WEEKS to root. Just be patient.

Why does it HAVE to be done in soil? What is the purpose? The reason anybody clones anyways is to assure that you have females. Do as you wish and keep seeing them wilt and smoking a bong hit rather than growing ounces of good female bud. The video IS the real deal. So if you want to clone and know that is is done properly follow the video or try and decipher written directions if you like. K.I.S.S.

(K.eep I.t S.imple S.tupid). The plant im cloning off of IS a female so i dont have to assure anything and you have no idea of the amount i personally would like to grow. Yes the video is very informative if i want to go out and buy a bunch of shit to make a bunch of clones but i dont, i want 1 plant at all times possibly 2. If anyone has anything positive and helpful to add unlike this ASS, it is appreciated. =)

what about using peroxide in the water? Wonder if it would be as beneficial as in soil, i'm sure it would because i know people use it for hydro operations. I have heard of people doing the same method as the cup of water but with peroxide and having root growth in 3 days, i may try that tomorrow.

Im not too concerned with how much bud i get, im happy to get any. It isnt just about the bud, its about being enlightened taking care and nurturing something from birth hell i almost dont want to harvest her because its like killing and harvesting your child obviously not to that extent lol. Its just such a wonder to watch her grow and transform. To get buds i suppose is just icing on the cake for me hence me only wanting 1 or 2 plants. Im not going to throw my whole life away growing large amounts that i dont need. Have you heard about what the feds are trying to do? Making a 5 year sentance for sensimillia buds into a 25 year sentence with a 1million dollar fine instead of a 25thousand dollar fine? Heard it on the news yesterday it was brought up over a large high potency marijuana bust in Chicago. Lame as hell.

Dude, I run a pool at work and if the ph is under 7 we can't open... 5.5 would give a person rashes and a terrible itch. Doesn't sound like a good idea to put plants threw acid burns... just my 2 cents...
