The odd one might keep for 10years with that method.. Some will still start to dwindle from 2yrs on.. I'd guess 50% viability at 4-6years if stored well..
Storing them in a drawer etc is more variable due to temps/humidity, but alot won't make it past 18-24months under fairly cool/dry conditions.. Most harvested in fall will usually be fine for planting in spring though regardless of storage care..

i have all my seeds on a shelf in my office. they go back as far as 10 years. they all germ just fine.

man on this seed grow i was overzealous with pollen application. im going to have literally thousands of seeds and very little smokable bud i simply used way too much pollen im kinda pissed at my self. what i will have to do is simply make a bunch of hash once the seeds have been removed when life gives you lemons make lemonade. at least the seeds will be of very good genetics and i will never run out.

i over pollinated my plants i have way too many seeds growing the buds are literally pure seeds so not much smokeable bud. im going to just make a bunch of hash once i have removed seeds but next time i will remove the male sooner. i will for sure have thousands of seeds the good thing is they are great genetics and i will never run out. they are larry og kush/pre 98 bubba kush crossed to purple urkel/white widow so i should have a nice 4 way med cross in male female f-1 form. then when i make f-2s with these seeds i will have many many phenos to choose from and stabilize.

ewww, and they're purple at that.

sorry about the double post my computer malfunctioned as it often does. i did not know my first post went through.

25% of the genetics will be purple urkel which is a strain i very much enjoy not all purple strains are bad. the other 75% will be larry og kush one of the best ogs pre 98 bubba which most people enjoy and the old stand by white widow the f-1s wont be purple if i make f2s there may be urkel leaning purple phenos. but again urkel is not some crappy commercial purple with no potency. also there will a four way cross combining banana kush/pre 98 bubba*purple urkel/white widow as well.

well fdd just for you i will make some commercial purple fems for you i know you love that kind of thing lol. just kidding.

if it comes out with the bulkiness of the purple and the flavor and high of the OG then you're on to something.

yeah well see i can say that the pre 98 bubba/larry og fem cross i made which is flowering full of seeds smells like a mix of bubba and larry. she outdoors and still my whole house reaks of bubba/larry it freaks me out. the f2s should offer og/bubba dominant phenos with increased yields i hope time will tell.
