To answer some of your questions,

Yes you CAN take clones right out of the cloner and put them in your final pots.

There are a few reasons why you might consider using smaller pots first, then transplanting into larger ones. First, if your planning on having a veg period, it kind of makes no sense to spread out a bunch of small plants in big pots, using smaller pots would make it possible to fit more plants under less lights. I.E. 100 3 gallon pots would require around 4 1k lights. 100 3 Liter pots would fit under 2 1k lights. Get my drift? Also, roots and rootballs have alot to do with your finished product. You dont want 1 foot plants in 5 gallon buckets because they will never have the chance to grow a nice tight rootball, and also you would be wasting soil and space. A good tight rootball is essential to produce good tight solid buds. A good rule of thumb is 1 gallon/foot in soil.

As for the feeding schedule that is pretty much strain & nutrient dependant. It really does depend on what your growing, but REMEMBER when growing LESS IS USUALLY ALWAYS MORE. If you shared a little more info as to strain/nutrients you will be using, maybe we can help you further.

Yes, SOG, in my opinion, is the most efficient way to grow, aside from vertical. It allows the grower to utilize almost all of the light and space available.

If you post strain, nutrients, room size, light size, container size, etc. maybe we can help you a little more!

Sorry i missed the 12/12 part when i was reading your post. You'll want to give them a couple of days to take to the soil before you flower them. I would reccomend 3L-1Gallon pots, and wait a couple of days. What you are looking for is the leaves, they will tell you when it's ok to flower. You will see over the first couple of days that the leaves begin growing and have a nice pronounced shape. This tells you the plant has begun taking to its environment. I just re-read this, and it is a bit confusing. What i am trying to say is i know when i take mine out of the cloner they look a LITTLE ragged when they come out. Over 2-5 days you can see new growth beggining and the leaves go from soft and shriveled to sharp and formed. Just watch over the first few days, you'll see what im talking about.
