I can see this thread getting linked a lot as the argument of led vs hps rages on...
I have to say this is easily the best led grow I have ever seen, and I've looked! I did run 600 leds for my veg setup for a while, but then I got a 250w mh 'cause the growth wasn't quite up to the level I would have liked.
I'm glad to see leds producing some serious buds, but the price will have to come down a fair way before I consider investing in one. I see this as a hobby that pays for itself and I think most growers would think twice before sinking that sort of cash into a light.
Mad props to you though, can't wait to see the harvest.

great f*cking job on the grow brother. Those are some of the best buds i have seen. I just purchased a 90 watt ufo from htg and hope to have the same success. Only using 3x3 space so i will supplement with some cfl's if i need to.........again beautiful!!!!

Nice looking grow. Looks like your having fun with it too. Since the $$ per watt is so high I'm assuming the main benefit of LED is the lower heat output? Do they make higher wattage led? Thanks for any reply.

so I wanna hear the 600watter hps guys come and compare.. What really takes the cake?? aside from cost of the led setup.. and the fact that your not saving money anymore with the 600watts of LED...

600 watts is 600 watts.. hps or led.. so the electricity saving flew out the window.. and now due to the high start up cost.. i don't know if it's worth it any more.. yeah heat issues are probly solved by using it.. anything else?

BUT the thing is.. your pumping out 600 watts of light the plants uses.. Hps has atleast some that is useless im sure.. SO this LED setup may actually turn nicer buds.. but the hps intensity might be bette for something??

those are some beautiful ladies though.. and much respect for being a pioneer
