Yea, I was kinda wondering because I was looking at the manual on my 3 stage ( I think, 3 filters 3 stage right?) kenmore I just installed, and it said that it "reduced" chlorine levels.

i think its 3 tanks and one has more sediment and one is clean and the middle is tap and the sediment all gravitates to the dirty side, through osmosis. i dont think its like normal style filters... im too lazy to research it right now but you can look it up im sure...

tap water can have rust sediment and chemicals that can build up in soil and hurt your plants. I use RO and I thinks its the best!
