I have 1 question, would it help any if i hang a 1000w bulb it in the center of 20 plants. Will it freak the plants out by it coming on and going off with the cycle below.
Trying to achieve max bud below canopy.
i would run the light in the 12/12 cycle.
4.5 min on
10 min off
15a timer and dedicated outlet 15a breaker.
I believe it would have affect the bulb life but that does not matter

I am also running 7200w over the tops.

temp 74 degrees 45% h and 3 a/c at 42000 btu temp is no prob

why would you have the lights turn on 4.5m on 10 off , why not keep the lights on 12/12 all the time?

ok i left that answer out the bulb itself get about 114 degrees on the glass. 4.5min it gets to 85 dont want to burn eveything blelow no room now to pull all the stems and leaves away from glass heat.

weird never heard of doing that lol

that won't work with the photo period of a short-day plant, which relies on a solid chunk of night in order to flower, which need a solid 12hr chunk of darkness. not sure about the other 12 hours though, imagine it wouldn't work though interested to know.

Yyes monsters there will be darkness 12/12 just adding a 1000w hps have an extra one laying around

Do you know how much of a power arc the lights pull when starting up? We are now running 2 400watt MH and a 1000 HPS for veg, and we have their "come on" times staggered a bit, to account for the huge power spike.

Yeah power spiking might be an issue with a cycle like that. I have heard it takes more energy to power light bulbs on than to leave them on for some time.
