A few people do it with reptile lights. Most just grow with fluoros and/or metal halides.

yea i have cfl's and a 600w hps wondering if uvb will help at all

UVB is used as a SUPPLEMENTAL light, not a primary light source. I have 2 150w HPS's to which I will be adding 1 26w UVB CFL. Its been reported to make a noticeable increase in trichome growth.
