I know that the higher the kelvin the bluer and the lower the redder. Plants use blue more in veg and red more in flower.


Standard Hps bulbs have a 3000 degree kelvin rating. So if I go with a bulb that has a 2100 degree Kelvin bulb will I get bigger, better, buds?

I will be using a blue spectrum for veg, so why not go as red as possible for flower?

These are plant absorption rates at diff lighting wave lengths or colors





There is no direct correlation between K and wavelength but here is a graph that is pretty close.
