i was wondering if anyone had insight about when scroging should no longer become an option. i an about a week and a half into flowering, showing healthy bud sites and am concidering doing a scrog. would it be okay to do so? has any one tried growing durban kush, this strain kicks ass. its very vigorous with dense internodes..

Ya could put a screen/scrog on them. It will hold the buds up when they get heavy and want to fall over.

yes dirty boy i know this i was more concerned if it would effect the plant, i would just like to open up the plants to some light to help form more solid buds towards to bottom

no but ive used trellis netting that you can get at any home depot and ive tied the fuck down out of huge bushes and opened them up and also retrained the buds right under the lights

I have a nice scrog goin right now. I topped it at about 6 weeks. and topped again after 2 more weeks.. That gave my 3 main branches. Those three branched are stretched out flat across the growbox, and has severl other branches comin off it. The plant is only like 8 inches tall, but 3 ft by 2ft wide. And has tons of smaller buds, but for a cfl/hps grow, it worked aright for me. Didnt notice a major differnce in yeild
