Default Any experimental data out there comparing growing methods?

Hi,
I'm really interested in seeing some direct comparisons between the same strain grown under different combinations of lights, growth medium, nutrient regimen, light cycle, ambient CO2, etc. This would allow us to see what combination produces the best results. Does anyone know if experiments like this have been carried out? If so, where can I find the results?

i read a thing a month ago about lighting in veg
16 hours, 18 hours, 20 hours, 22 hours, and 24 hours
1they said 20 hours gave the best growth rate, i dont think it was balanced against cost of electricity tho.

Realistically this would require data-logging of multiple grows over a peroid of time. This could be organized via a standardized data format.
