Hey i have a strawberry haze growing. its on its 7th set, and i am LSTing using it, moving the main stem around the inside of the pot, so far it has reached the edge of the 10inch pot, and i have started training it to the left. Anyway I wanted to top some of the taller shoots, growing up toward the 2nd, and 3rd set of leaves, those four new shoots. Is it a good idea, wont that help maximize my yeild? Let me know and if your having trouble understanding where i want to top the plant then i will elaborate some more, thanks folks

eh you could it would probly give u more shoots and stuff buddy but if ur worried about increasing yeild buy some BUD BLOOD it increases bud sites and try pruning a bit to get light further down through ur plant i cant remember if thats indica or sativa based but yeah lst and fimming and stuff works fine but ur slowign down the process, causing stress and reducing the quality so you have to weigh ur opptions ... if u have a big enough area it should be nothing to let them do there thing and prune a lil bit maybe

Yeah, you can top 'em, but I wouldn't do more than a couple at a time to avoid possible temporary stunting.
Or you could use those twist-ties to move them down to desired canopy height.

not sure why you'd want to, the whole point of lst is to get more light penetration. making it all bushy and shit won't help with that

well i topped one shoot to see how it turns out, and lst is to make it all bushy... and shit. exactly why i would want to top a couple shoots, two more shoots come off that, that means two more buds for each shoot i top, so i top one, whats the worst that can happen? i get more bud that way, damn that sucks...
And one more thing that would make it much bushier cause now i have two new branchs to train instead of one, more branch means more bush, so thats why i would want to topp.
