Hi, I'm about to run a scrog. I've been doing tons of research and have read mixed things about scrogs and their purpose. I wanted to know whether people use scrogs even if there growing height is not limited i.e. they have 8 ft. ceilings. I'm growing in a 6'x12'x8' room. Some people say scrog is only for small spaces...are there any benefits to using this method with bigger grows? I'm currently running 2 1k lights over 2 3x3 ebb and flow trays. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. - d

It's all based on personal opinion. ScrOG is great for small spaces, weak lights, but is also very effective with large spaces and strong light sources.
IMO there's no reason no ScrOG. This way all your branches get the same amount of light so you get more buds from the lower stems. The only down side is that you need to wait a week more to veg so all your branches get a spot on that screen.
