Default Cuttings from mother plants -- rooting gel or powder?

Hey all!

i purchased Shultz TakeRoot rooting hormone (powder) a while back and intended to use it for my cuttings. As the time came to make the cuttings, i started refreshing my memory, and read that rooting gel is more effective.

should i scrap what i have and head for the gel? or is it merely opinion and the powder is fine?

additionally, has anyone ever used this product before? what were your results?

GO GEL! I've had better success. Tried Clonex for awhile, then caught a drift of some stuff called Olivia's. been caught on Olivia's ever since. A 100% success rate, unless I'm working too high...

the powder is just as good as the gel... I used the powder on half of my clones i did and those rooted a few days faster then the ones with gel.....I dont like the gel cus then have a tendency to run off the clone..as to the powder when you put that on the end of a clone the shit stays on...i used jiffy cubes..and they work great for those...it was good cus the gel would just run off when i squeze the plug a bit to set the clone into the cube..and the powder stuff stays on it...

Wouldn't doubt, but that's why I switched to Olivia's, higher success rate, and some sticky stuff comparatively to the other gels i've tried.
Jiffy cube's or Jiffy-7's are the way to go though, completely agree. Gel seems more consistent to me, but maybe i'm just stoned... Not trying to advertise or nothing. Lol.

rootech cloning gel and rockwool cubes 100% success every time in about 10 days ive used this method for 3 yrs and have never had a failure
