just a thought...alot of ppl use airstones in there hempy and hydro grow...could u put one at the bottom of a soil grow bucket and run it just a little bit each day...i know it would dry the soil out quickerr, but that just means u water a little more...

I have been using red dixie cups with soil for my clones w/ a clear cup on top (w/holes). In the bottom /side of the cups i poke a hole and insert hose from aquarium air pump....they aren't dead yey!

i should hopefully have my closet up and running for take 2 by the end of the week. ill be sure to stick an airstone in the bottom of the soil container as well, just to see what happens.

kool man! yeah, i dont think it will be needed to run the pump all the time...just kind of a daily or bi daily boost...let me know how it works for u...ill be a few weeks behind....im thinking of trying it with some auto aks seeds i have...that way itll only take 2 months to see what the difference is...but ill be using 10 gal buckets for them...so it will b a little different than my 3 gal grow

I remember reading something about putting sponge, with an air tube inserted in the middle, near the bottom of your pot. It's supposed to retain water and supply the roots with oxygen, especially the roots that grow through the sponge.

I can't remember if it was just an experiment or if it was an established practice. I'll try and find it and post it for you guys
