Question cloning help

I'am sure this questions probly been asked and answered 100 times,but i need some help. Whats a good way to go about cloning??
I just took a few clones tonight by cuting 2-3" shoots off the bottoms of the plant AT an angle. Then i shaved up on the stem with my razor diped it in water than into my shultz root hormone and then put to bed in pre watered cup of soil??

Do you have a dome? I had to use one when I cloned in soil.

i was wondering if u could get the same results by puting the clone into a sponge with tighter spores. like the cubes u stick fake flowers in

id recon it would be hard for the roots to penetrate the spounge compared to rockwool ..

lol ones made for plants the other is for wipeing shit clean
