Im growing 32 plants, and a few of them are forming seeds, only a few though. Its fucked. I checked everywhere, No balls, No bananas, its too early for bananas anyway.

The weird thing is that there are random plants that are forming seeds in my tent, and they are surrounded by plants that are just forming normal buds.

Iv already isolated a good one for new mothers, Im just curious as to how this can happen?

Can female marijuana plants form seeds without being pollinated? If so, would these seeds have any use or just be sterile?


Any info on the subject would be Greatly appreciated, Iv been trying to search the forums but so far havent been able to find anything.

They have to be pollinated! No debate with that one.

Ya may not of got males out in time. It takes 1 hermie with 1 nut to spread pollen in the garden. Keep looking. There maybe an area where there are more seeds forming. Check there first. No debate they are getting pollen from some where in there.

There has never even been a male plant in this apartment. I moved in with trays of clones from my previous mothers. They are not getting pollinated, there are no male balls, and if it was from male balls the balls would have flowered by now.

And if it was pollen, all the plants in the tent would be affected, not a couple random plants out of the 32....

My boy warned me this could happen when he was hellping prep me for this grow. Is it just so few seeds that you almost didnt even ask, but you had to ask just in case? I was told that sometimes shit like that happens. According to him (he is reliable, has been growing for a living for about 27 years), the seeds will have a higher likelyhood of being female. He told me the plants and buds should be fine. Good luck, bro. Hope all continues well

Yeah well Im gonna go through all them and flush all the seeded looking ones. The seeded have all matured really fast, they already look done, they are sticky as fuck and look like chronic weed, they just have seeds. The ones that are fine got at least 4-5 weeks.


I think I noticed a banana in one of the seeded ones too just now. Seems weird, they might have just matured super fast and popped some bananas I havent seen. I dunno, next crop is coming from clones from a single plant so it will be more consistent, I just wanna get this one done without losing out on too much herb.
